ROCK MUSIC AND IGGY POP IN TUSHINO. WINGS FESTIVAL 2002 IN MOSCOW

On July 7, 2002, the third rock festival “Wings” (“Kryl’ya”) was held at the Tushino airfield in Moscow. Approximately 50,000 spectators attended the musical event during the day. A sunny day, popular rock bands, and delicious sponsor beer created a great atmosphere on the former airfield.

Participants: Young Russian rock musicians. Headliners: Kalinov Most, Neprikasaemye, Voskresenie, Zdob si Zdub, Mashina Vremeni, Splin, Aquarium.

Special guest: Iggy Pop (This was his first visit to Russia).

JSA installed a large stage using Layher Allround Scaffolding and Layher Cassette Roof, as well as a mill-style control room, make-up tents, a guest pavilion, security barriers, temporary fences, and other festival infrastructure. After this festival, JSA became the main contractor for the event for many years.
