On July 18, 2008, Metallica performed in St. Petersburg as part of their World Magnetic Tour. This was the first and long-awaited visit of the famous “metal-rockers” to the big city on the Neva river. The show of your favorite group was attended by about 20 thousand spectators. The concert took place at the Sports and Concert Complex – “Peterburgsky”. Today this unique building not anymore (it was destroyed in 2019-20).
On July 18, 2007, Metallica performed in Moscow at the Bolshoi Sports Arena in Luzhniki. The concert took place in the program of the Tuborg GREENFEST festival! and as part of the “Sick of the Studio` 07” world tour.
On June 13, 2006 in Tallinn, on the famous Song Festival Grounds, a concert of the Metallica group took place, the only one in Eastern Europe within the framework of the “Escape From The Studio’06” tour. The arrival of the tough “rock-metalheads” caused a great stir in the capital of Estonia – there were about 80 thousand fans of the group on the field. Fans from neighboring countries – Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia came to watch the bright and dynamic performance of rock musicians.
