About

ABOUT JSA EUROPE / STAGE COMPANY

JSA Europe is the legal successor of JSA, founded by Alexander Strizhak in 1996 in Moscow. It was the first professional stage company in Russia and in the post-Soviet space as a whole. The company’s activities had a great influence on the development of a separate area in the concert and event industry – production management. JSA also made the staging business a separate type of activity in Russia, Ukraine and the Baltic States. Separate from sound, lighting and screen companies.

Today’s JSA is based on the legal status of the representative office of JSA in Europe, which was opened in 2003 in Latvia, in Riga. At first, it was the headquarters for communication with European and, in particular, Baltic countries in the live music and event sector.

The company’s main activity is the provision of professional staging and production services for live music concerts, festivals and events. The company provides a full range of services: performs engineering calculations and drawings tied to the location, develops logistics for the production of technical work, deals with issues of work with contractors: sound, light, video, decorations, pyrotechnics, electric generators; carries out the installation of stages, tent pavilions, stands, barriers, fencing systems and other infrastructure facilities.

The quality and reliability of JSA’s work is based on more than 28 years of company experience, the skills of experienced personnel and the energy of young employees.

The company also has extensive experience in Ukraine and cooperation with local contractors. The company had a full-fledged branch of JSA Ukraine in Kyiv from 2007 to 2012.

In the spring of 2014, after the events in Ukraine began, Alexander Strizhak was forced to close JSA’s operations in Russia and the company’s main office in Moscow for political reasons.

In 2015, having left the Russian Federation, the company began a new activity in Ukraine, participating in projects as a production consultant. The JSA Europe team took part in the production for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, which took place in Kyiv. Our part of the work was the Hospitality Area of this musical event.

Since the end of 2018, JSA Europe has been relatively inactive and has mainly collaborated with ArtMax (Lviv, Ukraine), assisting with production aspects. JSA Europe has also been active in selling stage structures (Layher and SIXTY82) on the local market.

In 2019, JSA Europe developed an interesting new business project called FLEXODROM together with its long-standing business partner Asteris Koutalos (Berlin). Unfortunately, due to the two-year quarantine that began in early 2020, this project and other business activities were postponed. Despite the forced stop, during this period the company was able to reorganize the sales of Layher products on the Ukrainian market. At the same time, the company gradually moved all its activities to the head office in Riga (Latvia).

After the start of the full-scale aggression of the RF in Ukraine in February 2022, the company lost its sales market in Ukraine and was forced to reconsider its plans and conduct another business reorganization. During the year, JSA was able to create a base for resuming staging, however already offering our services in the countries of the European Union. This includes: creating a concept, designing and performing calculations, as well as installing stage and other temporary structures. We have a warehouse with Layher system equipment (Allround Scaffolding and Event Decks), as well as trusses, podiums and large roof systems.

Due to changes caused by the ongoing war in Ukraine, the company began to look for new business opportunities. In the summer of 2023, JSA entered the markets of Romania and Moldova, providing its staging for local festivals and events. Currently, the company’s capabilities allow it to do staging in various countries.

JSA also continues to provide production management services for technical support, infrastructure creation, logistics and security coordination in the organization and holding of concerts and events.

Our team is mobile and has extensive experience in international projects. Our staff is polite and always ready to provide the necessary assistance. We work 24/7.

Our full staging and production management service allows the client to feel confident and comfortable.
