From 9 to 13 May 2017, the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest was held in Kyiv (Ukraine) in the pavilions of the International Exhibition Center (IEC). JSA Europe took part in the organization of this major international television event. This was a separate work area in an open area, next to the main buildings of the exhibition complex.
The JSA team managed the production and maintenance of the official hospitality space for guests of a vibrant musical event in the capital of Ukraine. Hospitality Area – was the main place for entry and reception of VIPs, invited city and government officials, media representatives, partners and sponsors of the event.
This part of the song competition events was held jointly and under the direct supervision of the European Broadcasting Union. We thank Jan Hermenau for his cooperation on this case.
The general manager of the production group of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv in the “Hospitality Zone” was Dmitry Yurinov. We express our gratitude to him for inviting the JSA team to this project and creating a good working atmosphere. And also a big thank you to all the members of our “VIP” team, as he unofficially called it. Also special thanks to Bogdan Dzyunko, Katerina Gundrava and Sasha Boroda from the local production office for their timely support and good cooperation in this project. Previously JSA participated as a staging company (Layher structures and Prolyte trusses setting) for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow.
