From 18 to 19 July 2024, structures were installed for the fountain show “ZAIGO” in Jelgava. This is the largest musical performance in the Baltic States – a multimedia action of water and fire, light and lasers. This year’s spectacular show, called “The Fifth Element”, was conceived as a show for the whole family. The artistic concept of the show was designed to surprise every visitor, regardless of their age. To implement the creative component, the director of the event came up with an original layout of the objects. JSA created the drawings and developed a plan for installing the show structures.
The former capital of Courland (Jelgava / Mitau) was the first city in the Latvian tour of the unique show. This summer, the multimedia performances “Zaigo – ūdens festivāls bērniem un ģimenēm” will take place in five cities in Latvia:
July 20 and 21 – Jelgava;
August 03 and 04 – Ogre;
August 10 and 11 – Riga (Lucavsala);
August 17 and 18 – Daugavpils;
August 24 and 25 – Valmiera.
At the time of writing this news, the first performance had already taken place in Jelgava. See photos from the event that we took on the official FB page – Zaigo.lv – multimediālās izrādes
Below is a photo gallery of Layher structures for the summer tour “ZAIGO”, taken during their installation in a field by the Lielupe River, where on the opposite bank is the beautiful building of the Mitava Palace, built by the architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. Currently, this building is occupied by the Latvian University of Biosciences and Technologies.
