RETURN OF THE NASHESTVIE TO EMMAUS IN THE TVER REGION

From July 4 to 6, 2008, the rock festival “NASHESTVIE” (in English – INVASION) was held once again in the Tver region. This is one of the largest open-air music events in Russia, after a two-year break, again returned to the banks of the Volga. In 2006, the festival was held in the Ryazan region, and last year, in 2007, it was cancelled due to a number of organizational issues. In April 2008, representatives of “Nashe Radio” and the organizing committee of the festival “Emmaus” decided to merge the two largest Russian festivals – “Nashestvie” and “Emmaus”. The combined festival continued to be called “Nashestvie”, and the venue again became the already well-known site near the village of Emmaus.

MUSICAL WINGS LANDED AT TUSHINO AIRFIELD IN MOSCOW

On July 21 and 22, 2007, the annual festival “KRYLYA” (in English – WINGS) took place in Moscow, which is one of the largest open-air musical events held in the capital of the Russian Federation. This year, the festival presented the audience with an interesting and vibrant musical program, outside of formats and genre restrictions. Many stars of the modern Russian rock scene, as well as new, relevant performers, performed on the double stage traditionally installed by the JSA company.

NASHESTVIE OF CAPE MEDITERRANEAN IN THE RYAZAN REGION

From August 4 to 6, 2006, one of the largest open-air festivals in Russia, “NASHESTVIE” (in English – INVASION) took place in the Ryazan Region on Cape Sredizemny (Mediterranean), located between the Oka River and Orekhovoye (Nutty) Lake. During the three days of “Rock Nashestvie,” three stages operated simultaneously: Central, Northern, and Southern. The festival participants included the best rock bands in the country, as well as teams playing alternative music. This year, the festival was visited by more than 80,000 people. JSA was the stage contractor for this event.

WINGS FESTIVAL LANDED AGAIN AT TUSHINO AIRFIELD IN MOSCOW

On July 29 and 30, 2006, the “KRYLYA” (in English – WINGS) rock festival took place in Moscow. It has already become an annual, largest open-air musical event in the Russian capital. If earlier KRYLIA focused only on rock, this year the festival covered the entire spectrum of modern musical genres – ska, reggae, folklore, glam rock, metal, electronic music, rap and many others. On the double stage installed by the JSA company, performers not only from Russia, but also musicians from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Latvia, France, the USA, Scotland and Brazil performed.

LIVE ROCK FESTIVAL ON THE JSA STAGE AS A SYMBOL OF REVIVAL

On November 7, 2005, the long-awaited rock festival “Phoenix – Revival to Life” took place at the local Lokomotiv stadium in Gudermes. It was the first major public event in Chechnya since the end of the latest war in this part of the Caucasus region. The festival was intended to celebrate the final return to peaceful life and demonstrate that, despite all the difficulties caused by the armed conflict in the recent past, citizens living in Chechnya are not immune to ordinary human joys in the present.
