In the autumn of 2009, a large pavilion structure was established in Moscow on Mira Avenue. It was used a few months for the restoration works of the famous monument of the Soviet time – Worker and Kolkhoz Woman (sculptor Vera Mukhina). This construction consisted of the three systems – Layher Allround Scaffolding, Layher Cassette Roof and Layher Protect. The modern beautiful “building” had: width – 25 m / length – about 50 m / wall height: one part 21 m, the second part – 27 m. A crane could work inside the pavilion under the roof – lifting the multi-ton parts of the monument.
In Moscow, from October, 31 till November, 2 Climbing World Cup 2008 (Bouldering and Speed competitions) took place in Gostiny Dvor (about 100 meters from Red Square ) within the frame of the most attended Russian sport exhibition “Ski & Board salon”. Especially for this competitions JSA installed climbing walls (height from 4,5 to 14 meters) on “amphitheatre” area of Gostiny Dvor.
For the first time, the fate of the 2006 Climbing World Cup was decided in Russia. On November 2–4, the 13th Moscow International Ski Salon was held at the Gostiny Dvor in the center of Moscow. This is the most visited exhibition in Russia of goods and services for winter sports and outdoor activities.
May 24, 2003 in Moscow on Red Square for the first time gave the show Sir Paul McCartney. It was an incredible event for many fans by music of famous the Beatles. They have been waiting for this for a very long time. There were more than 50,000 viewers. The Living Legend from the Liverpool Four performed to the public a long program that include songs from the times of the Beatles, Wings and songs from solo projects.
