JSA presents once again the latest product from the Layher plant – the TwixBeams – aluminum beams. In our work, we actively use them in staging to create pre-rigging. On September 2, a concert of the popular Russian-speaking singer Max Korzh from Belarus was held at the Daugava Stadium in Riga.
JSA Europe handled the production management of the event and also installed the stage structure with Layher Allround, Layher Event Decks, and Prolyte ST Roof System. For hanging light and sound equipment and LED screens. Usually, in such cases, aluminum trusses are used, but this time, due to some technical parameters, there was needed a different solution. Therefore, the JSA engineer used 12 TwixBeams 3.60m long / along the back line and sides of the structure under the roof.
To hang the heavy sound system (PA L-acoustic K1. 16 cabinets, per side 2000 kg includes hoists, bumpers, etc) on the outer towers of the stage, it was necessary to make the boom reach 3.5 meters. The solution for this was to install the console at two meters and use two TwixBeams 6.60m long / one each on the right and left)
In addition, the stage design included 2.60m long TwixBeams for installing the supporting pillars of the roof system. Two TwixBeams were installed in each corner of the stage. Thus, adapter supports were made so that the ST Base was at the same horizontal level.
JSA has been using Layher system products since 1997. We always monitor new products in the plant’s product line and try to immediately use them in structures under construction. This approach to business allows us to always be ahead, expands our capabilities, and improves engineering offerings for clients.
This summer we used the latest development of the plant – Aluminum TwixBeams to install structures for the NOSTALGIA 2023 festival in Bucharest.
