OPENING PARTY OF THE YACHT SEASON IN THE LAYHER STRUCTURE

On June 5, 2004, the opening of the Yachting season took place in the Moscow region yacht club “Burevestnik”. More than two thousand honored guests gathered for this event in the most prestigious place for real yachtsmen – members and partners of the club, yacht owners, VIPs, businessmen and artists. To hold a party for such a large number of people, the JSA company set up a temporary pavilion at the pier in the bay on the Klyazma River.

The temporary structure was assembled from elements of the Layher Allround Scaffolding system. The idea of using such a structure belonged to Alexander Strizhak. Since other types of tent pavilions did not meet the installation capabilities in the right place, in this case it was the only correct solution. In addition, the traditional tent pavilions that existed at that time had small wall heights, and the Layher structure made it possible to create a large event space on an uneven coastal surface, hang lighting and other equipment inside at different points on the roof grid, and also make passages anywhere.

The dimensions of the pavilion were: length 33 meters, width 17 meters, height of the walls – 6 meters, total height of the structure – 10 meters. The walls of the pavilion were hung with specially made awnings with a thematic image. So, in the evening after walking around the territory of the club and test drives on “cool” yachts and cars, “ladders were served” and all the guests were invited on board the luxurious “Ocean Liner”, which “moored” at the local pier and occupied a significant part of the territory of the club. The guests who “came on board” were able to understand what the organizers of the event had in mind when they sent mysterious invitations for sailing on the Round-the-World Cruise.

This was not the first temporary pavilion of this type. A similar engineering solution was used by JSA back in the late 90s, when the Russian event technical support market did not have a sufficient number of rental companies providing services for installing tent pavilions. In addition, temporary event space structures assembled from Layher systems allow for many advantages and provide unique opportunities compared to traditional tent and pavilion structures.
