“TRIANGULAR” STAGE ON THE SEA BEACH FOR A CORPORATE FESTIVAL IN TURKEY

From the 26th to the 29th of October 2023, there was a corporate festival in one of the hotels of Kemer, in Turkey, on the Mediterranean coast of Antalya. The spectacular event closed the active part of the tourist season in this popular holiday destination. JSA installed an unusual stage structure on the beach next to the sea for the concert and dance programs of the event.

The original “triangular” stage design was invented by the technical director of this event, Victor Solovey. Then, this conception was adapted by the JSA engineer to the uneven surface of the beach, and there were added solutions for holding various shows. The program included an official part, a live performance by a cover band, prize drawings from the concert hosts, a festival of colors, and DJ music for dance parties.

In addition, the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic (the last Sunday of October, 29.10.2023) took place on the JSA stage as part of the festival. You can read the news about it here:

There was installed a mobile table on wheels for the DJs’ performance, so it could be quickly moved from the side backstage area and put back. There was invented a special design of a mobile canopy on wheels with a transparent coating if it rains. The canopy was located on a special platform of the stage balcony from the seaside during the event, so it could be quickly taken out and installed above the DJ’s table (or drum set).

There was also installed a long table (6 meters) in the hotel park for a DJ competition and a special multi-level design of a DJ table with an LED screen near the pools.

The advertising wall (length 12 m / depth 4 m / height 6 m) was also installed at the far end of the beach, which designated the back side of the area for the festival on the beach.

All structures were assembled from Layher Allround elements and Layher Event systems. A special feature for this occasion was the use of the latest product from the Layher plant in the stage structure – Layher TwixBeam power beams. These lightweight and convenient elements are useful for creating reliable suspension points for light and sound equipment, and video screens.

Controlled fire pyro installations were fixed on the upper levels of the stage structure on TwiwBeam. The fire show provided a good emotional effect during the evening performances of the festival.
