Last Sunday, almost a week-long festival marathon Atlas Weekend – 2018 was completed in the capital of Ukraine, which takes place annually in Kyiv on the territory of VDNG (Exhibition Expocenter of Ukraine). In total, for this event on the whole involved space of the complex, seven stages of different modifications and sizes were installed depending on the tasks for the performances and musical directions of the performers.
On the Main Stage of the Fest, more than thirty-five artists performed from 03 to 08 July. The audience could see on the Layher Stage such popular Ukrainian and western musicians and rock bands as:
Pianoboy, Mozgi (Brains), Vopli Vidoplyasova, Oleg Vinnik, Boombox, Fontaliza, Antitila, Benjamin Clementine, Epica, SKILLET, Selecta, Sender, Da Candy, Lost Frequencies, Don Diablo, Atomic Simao, Kadnay and many others
The headliners of the festival this year have certainly become:
an American singer of Italian origin- LP, Dutch DJ No. 1 – Martin Garri, the cult musicians of British rock – Placebo
, and the legend of live electronic music – The Chemical Brothers.
This year the stage was decorated with “transparent” light-diode screens, which allowed to constantly change the appearance of the scene for each performance. It’s nice that a large engineering structure from Layher Allround Scaffolding and the Layher Cassette Roof was the main object of the popular and mass summer event in Kyiv.
