On September 06, 1997, took place the famous mega show “Oxygen in Moscow” by the famous composer and musician Jean Michel Jarre. A large-scale performance was dedicated to the celebration of the city’s anniversary – 850 years since its foundation. During the week, as part of this event, a large number of events and concerts were held in the capital of Russia.

On September 6, 1997, as part of a large-scale celebration of the anniversary of 850 years of Moscow on Vorobyovy (Sparrows) Hills, on the square in front of the main building of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, a unique show of the famous musician Jean Michel Jarre took place. This mega performance had two names: an official from the Russian side “Moscow – Road to the XXI century” and a creative name from the French production team “Oxygen in Moscow”.

On September 17, 1996, Michael Jackson gave a concert at the Dynamo Stadium in Moscow. The King of Pop Show was part of his HIStory World Tour. This was the second visit of the popular artist to Russia, the first concert in the framework of the Dangerous World Tour took place in 1993 at the Luzhniki stadium. The organizer of Michael Jackson’s second visit to Moscow was the ARS company. The performance of the popular singer and showman was successful, despite some problems that arose during the transportation of equipment for the show.
