SHAKIRA’S SHOW AND THE WIND OF CHANGE IN TBILISI, GEORGIA

On December 23, 2007, Shakira played her show in Tbilisi. That was her first visit to Georgia. The performance was in a large open area on the banks of the Kura River, not far from the historical center and near the Presidential Palace. According to local police, there were more than 350,000 spectators. The entrance was free. Now there is a city park at that place, and a new concert hall called Rhike has been built.

METALLICA IN TALLINN, ESTONIA. ROCK ON THE FOLK SINGING FIELD

On June 13, 2006, in Tallinn, on the famous Song Festival Grounds, a concert of Metallica took place. That was the only performance in Eastern Europe within the framework of the “Escape From The Studio’06” tour. The arrival of the tough rock metalheads caused a great stir in the capital of Estonia. There were about 80 thousand spectators on the field. Fans from neighboring countries – Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Russia came to watch the bright and dynamic performance of rock musicians.

CONCERT OF JOE COCKER ON PALACE SQUARE IN SAINT PETERSBURG

On September 15, 2005, Joe Cocker performed his first show at Palace (Dvortsovaya) Square in Saint Petersburg, with a capacity of about 10,000 spectators. He performed songs from his new album, “Heart & Soul,” as well as other popular hits from his collection, including the famous “You Can Leave Your Hat On” from the movie “Nine and a Half Weeks.” This unique evening in the style of blues and rock ballads on the city’s central square on the Neva passed in a good atmosphere, despite the fact that it had been raining in the morning. The audience who came to the concert enjoyed the performance of the “Officer of the Order of the British Empire” and his magical hoarse voice.

CONCERT OF JOE COCKER ON THE RED SQUARE IN MOSCOW

On September 14, 2005, Joe Cocker made his first show on the Red Square in Moscow (Vasilyevsky Spusk) with a capacity of about 10,000 spectators. He performed songs from the new album – “Heart & Soul”. Also, he sang other popular hits from his collection, including the famous – “You Can Leave Your Hat On” from the movie “Nine and a Half Weeks”. The unique evening under the walls of the Kremlin and next to St. Basil’s Cathedral took place in a good atmosphere. The audience enjoyed the performance of Joe Cocker and the hoarse voice of the “Officer of the Order of the British Empire”.

MASHINA VREMENI. JUBILEE SHOW ON RED SQUARE IN MOSCOW

On May 31, 2004, the famous and popular Russian rock band Mashina Vremeni (Time Machine) performed on Red Square in Moscow in honor of its anniversary – 35 years of live music on stage. Despite the rainy weather, fans of the legendary band came to congratulate the musicians on their creative anniversary. The band’s colorful live show took place under the Layher roof installed by JSA for the event.
