“RESISTANCE” FROM MUSE IN THE BALTICS AT THE POSITIVEUS FESTIVAL

On July 16-17, 2010, the popular Positivus festival took place in Salacgriva, Latvia, on the Baltic Sea and halfway between Riga and Tallinn. More than 30 performers performed on three stages. These were mainly musicians from the UK, the Baltics and other European countries. The headliners were Scissor Sisters from the USA and the British trio Muse, who performed as part of their world tour in support of the album “The Resistance”. The main stage for this was set up by JSA.

BIG ROCK NASHESTVIE IN BOLSHOE ZAVIDOVO, TVER REGION

From July 9 to 11, 2010, the rock festival “NASHESTVIE” was held for the second time near the rural settlement of Bolshoe Zavidovo. One of the largest open-air music events in Russia, after a break, returned to the Tver region in 2009. Previously, the festival was held here on the bank of the Volga River near the settlement of Emmaus / in 2004, 2005 and 2008. In 2006, the festival was held in the Ryazan region, and in 2007, it was cancelled due to a number of organizational issues. JSA remained the permanent contractor for the installation of stage structures for all these events.

EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2009 AT THE MOSCOW ARENA OLIMPIYSKIY

From May 12 to 16, 2009, the Eurovision Song Contest was held in Moscow. There had been 54 competitions before that, and it was the first time in Russia. All preliminary and final shows were held in the Sports Complex Olimpiyskiy. This event had a large-scale production with various designs. A lot of Layher scaffolding, Prolyte structures, and other trussing and rigging systems were used.
