On December 23, 2007, Shakira played her show in Tbilisi. That was her first visit to Georgia. The performance was in a large open area on the banks of the Kura River, not far from the historical center and near the Presidential Palace. According to local police, there were more than 350,000 spectators. The entrance was free. Now there is a city park at that place, and there was built a new concert hall Rhike.
On July 22, 2006, a big “Red Summer 2006” concert was held on the Red Square (Vasilyevsky Spusk) in Moscow. It was an enchanting music festival organized by MTS – one of the largest mobile operators in the country. The entrance was free: there were about 50,000 spectators, including 1300 on special tribunes for VIP guests.
