CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF THE TURKISH REPUBLIC ON THE STAGE BY JSA EUROPE

On Sunday (29.10.2023), Turks celebrated 100 years of the birth of the modern republic with vibrant fireworks and a drone show over the Bosphorus Strait lighting up the Istanbul skyline. During the day, naval ships sailed the famous waterway in a show of military might but also a signal of how far the republic has come since it emerged from the ashes of the Ottoman empire. Celebratory events took place throughout the country, including the resorts of Antalya. One of the celebration venues was a beach on the Mediterranean coast, where JSA EUROPE installed an original stage structure the day before.

27 YEARS SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE COMPANY

We are celebrating our 27th birthday. JSA was founded by Alexander Strizhak on September 17, 1996, in Moscow, as the first professional stage company in Russia. The company’s main business is staging, engineering, and production management of the technical part of concerts and events. We mainly use Layher universal systems, Prolyte and SIXTY82 truss structures in our work. Over the years of activity, the company has taken a worthy place in its business sector. We work in the Baltic States, Romania, Moldova, and are capable of implementing projects in other countries. The main office of JSA Europe (founded in 2003) is located in Riga (Latvia). “STAY HUMAN.” STADIUM SHOW OF MAX KORZH. LIVE IN RIGA

On September 2, the long-awaited concert of musician Max Korzh took place in Riga (Latvia). The Belarusian singer, popular among young people, dropped out of touring for several years – at first Covid was an obstacle, and then Korzh spoke out against the war and declared that he could not sing about “Zhit’ V Kaif” (Life Is Good) – that was the name of one of his famous albums – when the lives every day are taken away. About 35 thousand spectators gathered at the Daugava stadium. The concert ended on a minor note – with an anti-war song with the words “He is right who protects his home”.

INDEPENDENCE DAY OF MOLDOVA ON THE MAIN SQUARE OF CHISINAU

On August 27, in the center of Chișinău on the Square of the Great National Assembly (Romanian: Piața Marii Adunări Naționale) was held the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova (celebrated since 1991). 32 years ago, hundreds of thousands of people gathered at the same place and declared Moldova an independent state.
