IFSC CLIMBING WORLDCUP was held in Moscow from June 17 to 20, 2010
Specifically for the competitions JSA set the impressive complex of climbing walls under one big roof (span – 32 m) on area between pavilion N1 and “Druzhba narodov” fountain in the All-Russia Exhibition Centre (VVC).

MOSCOW, RUSSIA –17-20 JUNE”
In the autumn of 2009, a large pavilion structure was established in Moscow on Mira Avenue. It was used a few months for the restoration works of the famous monument of the Soviet time – Worker and Kolkhoz Woman (sculptor Vera Mukhina). This construction consisted of the three systems – Layher Allround Scaffolding, Layher Cassette Roof and Layher Protect. The modern beautiful “building” had: width – 25 m / length – about 50 m / wall height: one part 21 m, the second part – 27 m. A crane could work inside the pavilion under the roof – lifting the multi-ton parts of the monument.

A block of four shows by the legend of world rave music The Prodigy were held in the fall of 2009: in Riga, Latvia / Skonto Sport Halle – 03.10.2009, in Kiev, Ukraine / International Exhibition Center – 07.10.2009, in Russia – Moscow (Crocus Expo Hall – 09.10 .2009) and St. Petersburg (Ice Arena – 11.10.2009). It was a separate block within the band’s big world tour in support of the album – Invaders Must Die.

June 27, 2009, in Kazan, the second festival was held – Creation of the World / in russian – Sotvoreniye Mira.
The festival featured more than 20 musical groups, headliners on the Double Stage were: DDT (Russia), Manu Chao (France – Spain), Mumiy Troll (Russia), Vopli Vidoplyasova (Ukraine), The Rifles (England), Nino Katamadze (Georgia).
The audience was more than 200,000 during the all day.

The Second Festival in Kazan”
From May 12 to 16, 2009, the Eurovision Song Contest was held in Moscow. It was the 54 competition and the first time it was in Russia. All preliminary and final shows were held in the Sports Complex Olimpiyskiy. This event had a large-scale production and by various designs as well. A lot of Layher scaffolding, Prolyte structures, other trussing and rigging systems were used.
