On June 12 was the sixteenth Maxidrom festival at the airfield “Tushino” in Moscow. This year, the organizers (the agencies – C.A.T., SAV Entertainment, and NYAT) abandoned the usual festival genre with a variety of performers, inviting only six English-language bands, each of which played an entire concert watch program. The headliners of the event were the famous bands Simple Plan, HIM, and Thirty Seconds to Mars.
JSA once again became a partner of the legendary rock festival. Especially for the event, stage company JSA built on the territory of the airfield a scene with a total width of 50 and a depth of 35 m with an under-roof area – of 20×14 m, a back-stage area – of 16×20 m zone, a special podium for the fan zone and a two-story FOH – 6×4 m. For the infrastructure of the festival, JSA installed 500 m barriers, 3 000 m fence, turnstiles, and about 100 m fan barriers. In addition, JSA invited subcontractors for the production of some of the work in this case.
Alexander Strizhak, President of JSA: “We have a long-standing relationship with the festival. We started our cooperation back in the second half of the 1990s when everything was just beginning. Events of this magnitude at that time were a novelty and were held in the indoor stadium of the sports complex “Olimpiyskiy”, and now this is a big festival of music in the open air. “
