On February 8 and 9, 2024, two concerts of the popular Greek singer Nikos Vertis took place in Bucharest. The artist’s long-awaited shows were held at Sala Palatului concert hall in the center of the Romanian capital. An original design of the stage space was invented for Nikos Vertis’ performances where JSA provided a special set of Layher Allround and Layher Event designs.
A multi-level structure with stairs and walkways was installed on the stage of the concert hall. Seats for the musicians of the artist’s group were arranged on platforms of various heights. The design included LED screens, which were fixed in different planes. This arrangement created the effect of presence in a multidimensional space but with a single video sequence.
Full technical production of this project was carried out by Sens Music, which provided sound and lighting equipment, as well as video screens.
The next concert of Nikos Vertis with the original staging of JSA’s Layher designs will take place on February 15, 2024, at the BT Arena (Sala Polivalenta) in Cluj-Napoca.
Sala Palatului used to be a Palace of Congresses of the communist regime. After the 1989 revolution, the purpose of the Palace Hall changed and it became a popular venue for concerts and various performances. The first installation of the Layher design at this historical site therefore had a certain symbolic meaning for the JSA company.
