SCORPIONS – 60 YEARS & LIVE ROCK-N-ROLL AT THE STADIUM IN CHISINAU

On September 9, 2025, the famous band SCORPIONS performed at Zimbru Stadium in Moldova’s capital. The popular rock musicians’ concert was part of their anniversary tour in honor of the band’s 60th anniversary. This tour is called “Coming Home to…,” and each city’s advertising for the show includes its name. Therefore, this live show was titled in English: “Coming Home to Chisinau” or „Întoarcerea acasă la Chișinău” (in Moldavian) JSA contributed to the stage construction for this event.

The installation of the stage, towers, and other equipment (lighting, sound, screens) took place within a relatively short timeframe and under specific conditions, as working on the football field required adherence to specific regulations and a schedule related to its coverage and preservation for subsequent matches. The roof system was installed using a special, unique crane.

A few “secret” shots from the backstage area, the “kitchen” of the musicians, their assistants, and technicians. It’s always interesting to see what goes on there. To create this backstage space, side platforms with canopies were installed within the stage structure.

The arrival of the famous German rockers in Chisinau caused a stir not only among rock music fans but also among ordinary people. It’s still rare for major international stars to perform in Moldova. But things are gradually changing for the better…

All tickets for their concert were sold out in advance. More than 15,000 fans gathered at the stadium, joyfully welcoming the artists as they took the stage and then singing along as they performed their favorite songs.

The Zimbru Sports Arena was filled with a festive atmosphere, and the band’s performance was a great success. The show was captivating and vibrant, as the organizers handed out illuminated bracelets with programming to everyone in attendance.
