In Moscow, from October 31 until November 2, the Climbing World Cup 2008 (Bouldering and Speed competitions) took place in Gostiny Dvor, which is located about 100 meters from Red Square, within the most attended Russian sports exhibition “Ski & Board Salon.” JSA installed climbing walls (heights ranging from 4.5 to 14 meters) in the amphitheater area of Gostiny Dvor, specifically for these competitions.

On February 9, 2008, on the Vorob’yovy Gory (Sparrow Hills), for the second year in a row, the stage of the NOKIA Snowboard World Cup was held in the most spectacular competition – Big Air. On March 1, was held the stage of the World Cup in ski freestyle (ski acrobatics). It was for the first time not in a famous mountainous place, but in the city of a megalopolis.

On July 18, 2007, Metallica performed in Moscow at the Grand Sports Arena of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex. The concert took place as part of the Tuborg GREENFEST Festival program and as part of the “Sick of the Studio ’07” world tour.

On February 9 and 10, in Moscow, at Vorobyovy Gory (Sparrow Hills), the Nokia Snowboard FIS World Cup 2007 held the Big Air competition. This sports event brought together the strongest athletes – winners and prize-winners of the Olympic Games, world, and European champions. The unique temporary ramp (trampoline) for the competition was specifically installed by JSA Stage Company in the area near the main building of Moscow University.

For the first time, the fate of the 2006 Climbing World Cup was decided in Russia. From November 2 to 4, the 13th Moscow International Ski Salon was held at the Gostiny Dvor in the center of Moscow. This was the most visited exhibition of goods and services in Russia for winter sports and outdoor activities.
