July 22, 2006 on Red square (Vasilyevsky Spusk) in Moscow held a big concert “Red Summer – 2006”. It was an enchanting music festival organized by MTS – one of the largest mobile operators in the country. The entrance was free: there were about 50,000 spectators, including 1300 on a special tribunes for VIP guests.
July 13, 2006 on the Vasilyevsky Spusk of Red Square in Moscow, took place the festival “Stop Counterfeit”, as the action to support of the copyright of music artists. The event was held as part of the cultural program SUMMIT G8 / XXXII meeting of Heads of State and Government of the “The Big Eight”.
On September 21, 2005, the MTV channel – Russia Music Awards 2005 music awards ceremony took place in Vasilyevsky Spusk in Moscow, where the brightest Russian and foreign performers and video clips of the year were honored according to the music television viewers.
September 14, 2005 Joe Cocker was first time made his show on the Red Square in Moscow (Vasilyevsky Spusk) / capacity of about 10,000 spectators. He performed songs from new album – “Heart & Soul”. Also he sang other popular hits from his collection. Including the famous – “You Can Leave Your Hat On” from movie “Nine and a Half Weeks”.
May 31, 2004 the famous and popular in Russia rock-band – Time Machine (Mashina Vremeni) performed a big show on Red Square in Moscow in honor of its anniversary – 35 years live music on stage.
