CONCERT OF JOE COCKER ON THE RED SQUARE IN MOSCOW

On September 14, 2005, Joe Cocker made his first show on the Red Square in Moscow (Vasilyevsky Spusk) with a capacity of about 10,000 spectators. He performed songs from the new album – “Heart & Soul”. Also, he sang other popular hits from his collection, including the famous – “You Can Leave Your Hat On” from the movie “Nine and a Half Weeks”. The unique evening under the walls of the Kremlin and next to St. Basil’s Cathedral took place in a good atmosphere. The audience enjoyed the performance of Joe Cocker and the hoarse voice of the “Officer of the Order of the British Empire”.

NOKIA SNOWBOARD WORLD CUP 2005. BIG AIR ON THE BIG RAMP IN MOSCOW

On January 9, 2005, the World Cup in snowboarding took place on the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Center (referred to as VDNH in Soviet times) in Moscow. Especially for this event, JSA installed a ramp slope design (springboard) from the Layher Allround Scaffolding System elements. That was the second experience of the JSA team in constructing such structures in Russia. Before that, JSA installed a temporary ramp-slide structure for the first time in the country in 2002 on Vorobyovy Gory – NOKIA TOTALLY BOARD / BIG AIR 2002

MASHINA VREMENI. JUBILEE SHOW ON RED SQUARE IN MOSCOW

On May 31, 2004, the famous and popular Russian rock band Mashina Vremeni (Time Machine) performed on Red Square in Moscow in honor of its anniversary – 35 years of live music on stage. Despite the rainy weather, fans of the legendary band came to congratulate the musicians on their creative anniversary. The band’s colorful live show took place under the Layher roof installed by JSA for the event.

COMPOSER YANN TIERSEN AGAIN IN MOSCOW. AMELIE, GOOD BYE LENIN, L’ABSENTE & OTHER

On November 25, 2003, composer and musician Yann Tiersen performed at the Gorky Moscow Art Academic Theater. It was the second visit of the author of the music, already beloved by the Moscow public, to the popular films “Amelie” (the full name is “The Unbelievable Fate of Amelie Poulain” with Audrey Tautou in the title role) and “Goodbye Lenin!” (one of the roles was played by the Russian actress Chulpan Khamatova). The concert was organized by the JSA Promoter team.

THE BEATLES MUSIC IN LUZHNIKI. MOSCOW BEER FESTIVAL – 2003

The Beatles Music & Beer Festival took place at the Luzhniki Sports Palace on October 25, 2003. For three hours, the main stars of the concert program performed on stage – the American band BackBeat, one of the most famous tribute bands performing exclusively songs of the great Liverpool Four. Even Paul McCartney once noticed that he was flattered by what these musicians did on stage. The organizer of the original event in the capital was JSA Promoter. The Moscow show BackBeat was not only a musical journey into the 60s but also a performance with a change in costumes and the image of the band members, reflecting the evolution of the Beatles themselves.
