On February 8 and 9, 2024, two concerts of the popular Greek singer Nikos Vertis took place in Bucharest. The artist’s long-awaited shows were held at Sala Palatului concert hall in the center of the Romanian capital. An original design of the stage space was invented for Nikos Vertis’ performances where JSA provided a special set of Layher Allround and Layher Event designs.

In the second half of 2023, JSA took part in scientific research by a group of students from the Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle, the Netherlands. In mid-September, the Managing Director and founder of the company, Alexander Strizhak, received an invitation from a student at this university, Alexiia Pogrebnyak, to participate in this research. A group of students looked for a company to partner with on a training assignment as part of the Global Trends Lab course for the International Business major.

This year, the first news from JSA is related to Ukraine (*). It is positive information for those who are engaged in the construction, restoration, and repair of buildings and structures in Ukraine. It has been a year since the Layher plant from Germany, the manufacturer of the world’s best scaffolding systems, opened an official representative office in Ukraine. This happened thanks to our long-time strategic partners – a subsidiary of Layher Baltic / Managing Director – Viktor Vorontsov. Despite all the difficulties of the current military situation, there are official Layher plant representatives in Ukraine now.

On December 11, 2023, a meeting took place between Georg Layher, the managing partner of the Layher plant, and Alexander Strizhak, the managing director of JSA Europe. The meeting was also attended by Asteris Koutoulas, JSA’s business partner, and co-founder of the FLEXODROM project, and assistant translator Maria Strizhak. The meeting was dedicated to resuming work on the FLEXODROM project and discussing ways of cooperation in the new business conditions.

From mid-February to early November 2023, an original tower structure entirely assembled from Layher systems was located in the center of Timisoara, Romania, as part of the cultural program “Timisoara – European Capital of Culture 2023”. JSA actively participated in the implementation of this project, at the invitation of Adrian Vișenoiu from Salt Box Studio, the project’s production manager. Together with JSA engineers, the structure and logistics of the structure were thought out. Based on the created drawings, JSA provided the complete set of necessary Layher elements for the installation of the structure.
